Hello everyone! welcome back.
Today we are participating as a DT on The crafters cafe blog. This weeks theme for the challenge is making an envelope.
So lets start!
I did this with the image from Mystitchbackintwine Daffodiles , i print it twice in two different sizes. I editem on Draw from open office, so you dont need fancy programs to do it. And in kraft cardstock for more resistance.
Painted the Daffodiles with acrilic paints, ( first i look up on google the different kinds or collors from this beatifull flowers). I used, yellow (041), red (080), white, green (134) and gold(210) paints. The brand is Artistica Dibu (AD).
With my new, recently gifted Ek tools board i did my envelope, A-6 size, Kraft cardstock so i have a thicker envelope (you start with a 9 by 9 inches paper). And Embossed with my Cuttlebug Simple Flowers embossing folder.
Next i did two nested diecuts for the address writing, the big one on gold cardstock and the smaller one on kraft cardstock.
For the drops used, Nuvo drops that dries clear, so it resembles water drops.
And finnally i put a simple paper twine, in white and kraft , to finish this envelope. Like a lace thats holding the flowers.
Hope you like it and i will love to hear your comments
see you soon!
